Introduction To Creative Studies

Creative Studies , like it name , at first i was think that is a subject which is help to boost ours creativity , but when this semester just getting started, a lot of people said that creative studies is actually is English studies because ours English lecturer in alpha level tell us we still need to study about English when we go to beta level , it just have another name of this English , which isWhy this "English" Subject called Creative Studies ? she told us , it just a fancy and nicer name which gave by Multimedia University.

Of Course ...... I hate English ........ although i knew about it , but English subject is a subject which always pull down my CGPA since i was study Diploma at other collage will now .

This thing always on my mind and scared me until the first class of creative studies, i saw Mr Yap Sau Bin,who are teach us media appreciation in 1st semester of alpha level , came in the lecture room , is that him going to teach us English ? why not ? his English is just excellent .

After that , another lecturer came in , Mr Ahmad Radzi Bin Mohd Bedu , he was my lecturer of Media Culture during semester 3 in alpha level , is that really an "English" class ??

Finally , after the subject briefing , it is not a English subject , so .... Yeah ~~~


What is your expectation from the class?
After the class , I was excited about it because Mr Yap Sau Bin & Mr Ahmad Radzi Bin Mohd Bedu are very good lecturer , they using creative way to enhance the effect of the class , specially Mr Yap Sau Bin, I think he is just a "real" FCM Style Lecturer , since first semester in alpha level , they teach us how to think like a creativity person , of course , i think this class will be very fun and helpful to ours creativity in whole life.


What would I like to learn from this class?
For what i think , we still need more practice to boost the creativity , because I'm an Stupid if i said that I'm creative person , we believe that is no ending about "Creativity", no matter how , we will facing the situation,which lack of idea,so i hope that this class can helping us to boost and improve ours creativity to help us generate idea faster.

Lesson 1 : Defining Creativity

According to Wikipedia , Creativity is the ability to generate innovative ideas and manifest them from thought into reality. The process involves original thinking and then producing. but at other website also have it own definition , but most of them got their own point and i think they are right too....

For me , and what i thinking , creativity make us think outside the "box" , no matter in what situation , creativity is always helping us to solve the problem , everyone in this world are creative , but how creative are you ?

That always got people said that "creative is think something not logical" , about that i'm quite agree on it , that why i think that some kid are more creative that us , why ? because kid always like to think some not logical think like sun or moon can talk or other thing , but for us , who are grew up , ours mind become more and more logic , that why ours creativity be minimize.

This is my friend , who is the one of my best friend , hers name is Yap Lay Hong , does her creative and skillful ? The answer is a yes , definitely , hers drawing skill is just beyond fantastic,
and hers Self requirement , she never hardly ever feel satisfy to hers work , she just try to keep improving herself all the time , that is way i like her , no matter how nice hers works is , she is just believe herself can do nicer and nicer again . When she facing the problem , she always solve those problem in a creative way . For example , when we were at alpha year , we needed a big table for do ours A0 size artwork , that time we were worry about the table , but not for her , she just take out the board under the bed , put it on table as a extension , so she got a big table to do everything thing !

In conclusion, creativity is not just an ability to see,feel & solve something in a new way, it also will help you to change your style and keep improving your self .

It is not just a pen drive,that is what we call creative

Now,almost all of us got pen drive or portable drive , but we most of us never knew that ever it is a pen drive , but it can bring a lot of fun.


The pen drive at left side is a very special designed pen drive (although it got a bit 18sx),but anywhere, it is creative !! of course we are see a lot of this kind of example on internet , but do we see it by ours own eyes ?
I mean the object is real in front of you.
